“The new Human Trafficking Toolkit offers advocates the ability to better plan for, recognize, and support survivors of human trafficking. This toolkit presents an overview of human trafficking and its relationship to domestic violence and sexual assault. Many advocates are already serving those in need of these directed supports, even in cases where the advocate does not have direct knowledge of the survivor’s victimization. The toolkit supports intersectional, survivor-centered, and trauma-informed practices that prioritize the reduction of harm to survivors. The toolkit is free to those interested and can be downloaded.”
