Prevention Tool of the Month: Amazing Brain Series
2013
Provided by National Resource Center on Domestic Violence
“The Amazing Brain series was designed to educate parents and caregivers about early brain development, the effects of trauma on the brain, and the potential for the brain to heal and grow in order to help to prevent the potential long-term physical, mental, behavioral, and cognitive effects of experiencing early trauma. The Health Federation of Philadelphia (formerly The Institute of Safe Families) has created several “Amazing Brain” booklets with the support of Multiplying Connections.”
